Radhika is a lifelong student and teacher of yoga that believes in focusing on integrating and balancing the body, mind, and spirit to help prevent or manage illness and injury, and to promote wellness. Radhika completed her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Psychology at Rutgers University in 2004 and completed her Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2006 at Northeastern University which gave her a solid foundation in the workings and rehabilitation of the human body. Around the same time she graduated, Radhika began practicing and studying Iyengar Yoga with Theresa Rowland from Studio Yoga in Madison, NJ.
In 2010 Radhika found the joy of Vinyasa yoga and completed her 500 hr training with Ranjitha Sandeep at Yoga Sutra for Life. She continues her studies with world-renowned Backcare & Alignment Specialist, Alison West, at Yoga Union Backcare & Scoliosis Center in NYC. In Radhika’s personal training sessions you will find a strong focus on alignment and core strength as well as harnessing the powers of the breath for physical and emotional balance.
